Padlet TA is our AI-powered teaching assistant to help you focus more on teaching and less on preparing and admin tasks. This is available now at ta.padlet.com.

How does it work?

When you visit ta.padlet.com, you will arrive at the dashboard.

At the top of the dashboard, you can sign up to create a Padlet TA account. If you are already logged into your Padlet account, clicking the Sign up button will automatically create a Padlet TA account for you.

To keep a log of your prompts under My history, be sure to Log in each time you use Padlet TA. The more Padlet TA gets to know you, it will provide better recommendations on what you should create!

At this time, Padlet TA is free of charge and login is not required to access and use it!

Create your teacher profile

After you have used one of the tools to generate content, Create your teacher profile. You will need to be logged in to do this.

Enter the grades and subjects you teach, along with curriculum standards or guidelines to follow and Padlet TA will give you smart, personalized suggestions when creating new content.

Widgets are meant for quick, repetitive use. Directly below your suggested tools, you will find the Widgets section. Click on one to open it and see what it does! You can read more about them in the articles below.

AI tools

AI tools are used to generate more involved materials that are great for using in the Classroom!

Each tool has a series of prompts. All you need to do is fill out the prompts, add any outside media you want to include (optional) and click the arrow.

This will generate your results. Then, choose one of the Export options available!

FAQs

Do I have to pay to use Padlet TA?

Padlet TA is currently free to use. It also doesn't require login.

What AI models are you using?

We are using a combination of Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude.

Are you using my data to train the AI models?

No. We are using paid versions of these tools, which do not allow the prompts to be used by the models. On our side, our standard data retention terms apply. Learn more at legal.padlet.com/privacy

Why can't I log in?

Currently, you can only log in using a padlet.com account. Padlet TA does not support padlet.org accounts at this time.

Is there a file size limit for Padlet TA uploads?

We currently have a limit of 50MB.

Why don't I see the Padlet TA button on my Padlet dashboard?

The TA button is only visible for accounts with a Teacher or School staff account type. To change your account type, click on your avatar in the upper-right corner of your Padlet dashboard (at padlet.com) > click Settings > Basic info > next to 'Account type,' click the drop-down menu and select Teacher or School staff > navigate back to your dashboard to see the changes.
