Following a padlet or user account

Follow a padlet or account to receive notifications about their activity. To stop receiving notifications, unfollow it!

You can customize what notifications you receive from your notifications page. Learn more about managing your notifications here.

Following / unfollowing padlets

By default, you follow padlets that you have created and that you have been invited to as a collaborator.

To follow a padlet you have access to, open it and click on the bell icon (🔔) in the action bar. This will open the Activity panel.

Then, click Follow to receive notifications.

If you are already following the padlet, you can access the Activity panel to Unfollow it. You can also manage the padlets you follow from the Padlets tab in your notifications page.

Following / unfollowing accounts

When you Follow another Padlet account, you can be notified when they create a new public padlet. To Follow / Unfollow an account, navigate to their profile page and click Follow / Unfollow.

Manage the accounts you follow from the Accounts tab in your notifications page.

Finding a user's profile page

There are a couple of ways to find a user's profile page:

  • If you know the username for the account, you can go to their profile page by customizing this URL: padlet.com/<insert username here>. An example would be: padlet.com/toothfairy
  • If someone posts or comments on your board, you can click their display name to open their profile page.
Navigate to your own profile page, click the Copy link button ( 🔗 ) and copy your profile link to send it to a friend or colleague.
