Backpack plan vs District Platinum plan

There are 2 types of plans that schools can be on. A Backpack or District Platinum plan. The Backpack plan is far more common.
The first thing we'd need to do is find out if your school is on a Backpack or District Platinum plan. I say this because a Backpack has a specific URL that you'll need to use - it should end in padlet.org (not padlet.com) and look something like: hogwarts.padlet.org. A District Platinum plan is recognized by your school's email domain and accounts can be found on plain old, padlet.com.
District Platinum Users
If you're certain the subscription you have is a District Platinum plan, you can go to https://padlet.com/premium/upgrade/claim to claim your sponsored upgrade using your official school email domain. Newly created accounts that are eligible will be upgraded automatically.
If you don't see an upgrade, your school probably has a Backpack subscription. Please continue reading below!
Backpack Users
Backpack has a school-specific URL that you'll need to use. The URL should end in padlet.org (not padlet.com) and look something like: hogwarts.padlet.org.
Once you've found the URL, if available, click on Log in with Microsoft/Google. You should be able to log in using the email with your school's domain.
If the above isn't available to you, do reach out to your school administrator for help to add you into the account.
