District Platinum vs. Padlet for Schools

District Platinum or Padlet for Schools? 🤔

Which one should I choose? They both seem very similar. What's the difference?

I'd love to tell you!

Who can subscribe?

District Platinum and Padlet for Schools plans are meant for school-use only. If you want users to collaborate with students and other teachers on a large scale - you'll want to look into these subscription plans.

Which plan do I recommend?

I'm so glad you asked! To experience an exclusive, collaborative environment with a shared dashboard packed full of school-specific features -- I highly recommend our Padlet for Schools plan. Keep reading to see exactly what I mean.

District Platinum

To sum up District Platinum, you are purchasing multiple individual accounts that do not have a shared, collaborative space. If you want others to contribute to your padlets you will need to invite each user individually and assign them a role -- for each padlet.

Padlet for Schools

Padlet for Schools accounts enable students and teachers to share a dashboard (each with their own individual sign-ins) where they can share their padlets and easily collaborate together in one shared space.

Signing into a Padlet for Schools account is like getting into an exclusive VIP-only area at your favorite concert! (Okay, maybe not quite that cool -- but, you get what I mean). You will have your own unique domain to sign into. So, instead of going to padlet.com you will go to <youramazingdomainnamehere>.padlet.org. We will just go ahead and roll out the red carpet now... 👋

Padlet for Schools will also give you exclusive school-specific features such as Content moderation, technical integrations, access to self-serve analytics, AI-generated Magic padlets, pre-designed Templates made specifically for Teachers, etc. There are so many options! See below for a comparison chart between the two plan types:
