Classrooms: Owner and Teachers
Padlet for Schools: Owner and Admins
Access the Analytics page
- Log into your account > click on the Settings cog icon at the top-right corner of your dashboard.
- Click on your school's name (at the top) followed by Analytics in the settings menu on the left.

Use the Billing period dropdown at the top right to choose which renewal period you want to see, then toggle between the Overview, Usage, Impact, Safety, Top users and All users tabs to see specific statistics about each. Each tab's numbers update to match the billing period you've selected.

Viewing analytics
There are 6 different sections on your Analytics page:
- Overview (a snapshot of your license usage and Padlet's impact on your school)
- Usage (seat usage, member activity, and renewal status)
- Impact (student collaboration and your most active padlets)
- Safety (content automatically scanned for school appropriateness)
- Top users (the members driving the most activity)
- All users (every member of your workspace, searchable and exportable)
Toggle through each tab to get more insight on the statistics of your account!
Overview
The Overview tab is what you land on first. It shows how many licenses your active teachers are using and how many hours of collaboration each active teacher is getting, plus three impact stats for the billing period: time spent on Padlet, peer-to-peer interactions (posts, comments and padlet creations seen by others), and how much content was scanned for school appropriateness.

Usage
The Usage tab breaks seat usage and engagement down further, in three parts:
- Account (your active teachers against your license count, your active users against total school members, and how many days remain until renewal)
- Reach (active teachers, new members and visitors for the billing period, plus a month-by-month chart of active teachers)
- Engagement (posts, padlets, comments and reactions across all members, with a month-by-month chart for whichever metric you select)

Impact
The Impact tab focuses on student collaboration. Not only can you see student collaboration hours and peer-to-peer interactions for the billing period — you can also see a breakdown of multimedia student contributions by type (images, videos, links, files, audio), and your school's top 10 padlets, ranked by posts and by views.

Safety
The Safety tab shows how much content was automatically scanned for school appropriateness this billing cycle, including posts, comments, attachments, wall titles, and section titles, regardless of your padlets' individual moderation settings. It also shows how many scanned items were flagged for review and why (for example, profanity, alcohol, drugs, or sexual content), so you can see at a glance how your school compares to typical usage.

Top users
The Top users tab surfaces the members driving the most activity in your school: the top 10 by number of posts, and the top 10 by number of padlets created, for the billing period you're viewing.

All users
The All users tab lists every member of your workspace, with a search box and a role filter above the table so you can quickly narrow it down.

All information is broken down into the following categories:
- Identifying information (Name/Username and Email)
- Role (Owner, Admin, Teacher or Student)
- Dates (Signup Date and Last Activity Date)
- User's activity (Padlets, Posts, Comments and Reactions)
Exporting analytics
On the All users tab, you can download every member in your account as a .csv file by clicking Download.

An example of an exported .csv file from your All users tab is shown below:
