Why is my account frozen?

Starting February 1, 2024 we are implementing some changes to how we handle accounts that are over their padlet quotas.

This is for individual/personal accounts only. For Padlet for Schools accounts, click here.

How it works

If you were previously on a paid tier and then downgraded to a lower tier, you may have more padlets created than is allowed for your new tier. When this is the case, we will give you seven days to reduce your padlet count to be at or below your new padlet quota. After the seven days all of your padlets will be automatically frozen. Frozen padlets are still accessible and can be read, but they cannot be edited in any way.

To un-freeze your padlets, please reduce your padlet count to the number at or below your quota by placing existing padlets in your Trashed folder or subscribing to one of our paid plans.
