We use AI to keep unwanted content out of Padlet and keep it a safe place for anyone to collaborate. This is done through Safety-Net, our AI content moderation tool!

Policy

We know there's a lot of talk about AI and privacy. And we get it, it's important!

So... is your private information safe with Padlet's AI? Absolutely! In fact, using our AI is just as safe as simply using Padlet. Here's why:

• We don't use your personal content to train our AI.
• We only work with AI partners that respect our privacy agreements. If you've got a DPA with us, it extends to them too. This covers Padlet's own AI features. Padlet MCP works differently: Padlet doesn't send your data to an AI provider. A member connects an AI app of their choice, and that app's provider handles the data under its own terms. • You own everything you make with our AI.
• Our AI partners have the same log retention policies as Padlet - 30 days.
• Our AI partners do not know your IP address, email or where you're from. All they know is that it is coming from Padlet - that's it!
