Choose which tools appear in your sandbox with the allowed tools setting.
Access the allowed tools setting
Open the settings panel of your sandbox. Under Content, go to Allowed tools.
From here, select the tools you want your collaborators to access.
As the creator of the sandbox, you'll have access to all tools, regardless of which tools are available to contributors.
Want to see exactly how it will look for your collaborators? Open the sandbox in an incognito window. Since you're an admin, you'll always see all tools in your normal window, but incognito mode lets you experience it from your collaborators' perspective.
Use cases
- Create a notes-only sandbox for focused writing exercises
- Turn off all search options (image search, video search, etc.) to run a distraction-free brainstorming session
- Make an upload-only sandbox for submissions
- Create a sandbox that only allows drawing for visual thinking
