Log in and out on Desktop

Logging in

  1. Visit Padlet.com if you are logging into a personal account. Visit your Backpack domain ending in padlet.org.
  2. Select Log in
  3. Enter your username/email and password or with the third-party organization of your choice.

Log out on desktop

  1. Click the three-dotted icon on the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  2. In the window click Log out.

Logging in and out on Mobile

Stay up to date and continue your class or team collaboration, even when you don't have your computer handy with the Padlet iOS and Android app.

Downloading the Padlet app

To download and install the app, click the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and follow the instructions at the link.

Alternatively, in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, search for Padlet, select the app, and follow the installation steps.

The Padlet app works on both iOS 11.0 or later, and Android 7 and up.

Logging in

Neon and Gold

  1. Open your Padlet app
  2. Click Sign up or Log In
  3. Enter your credentials or click Log in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple

Backpack

The login method is slightly different if you have a school plan. Here are the steps to follow.

  1. Open the app
  2. Click Log In
  3. On the next page, where all login options are displayed, click on the Log in here link at the bottom.

  1. Enter your subdomain in the domain field.
  1. Enter your username, and your password.
  2. Click Log In

Logging Out

  1. From the dashboard, tap the three-dot ellipsis button on the bottom-left corner of your screen.
  2. Tap the Log out button on the top right corner.

Why can't I log in to my Backpack account?
Make sure you are logging in on your Backpack domain that ends in padlet.org and not on padlet.com.
Why does it say "User not found" - personal accounts
The email that you're using is not in our registry. Ensure that the email you're using is correct.
Why does it say "User not found" -Backpack accounts
Ensure that you are on your backpack domain and not padlet.com. If you are on the right domain, please check with your account administrator to verify your log-in details.
What if I can't remember my password?
If all attempts fail, request a new password at http://padlet.com/auth/forgot
Why does Padlet say "incorrect Password" or "Bad Password"?
an incorrect password was entered. If you cannot remember your password, request a new one here: http://padlet.com/auth/forgot. If problems persist, contact our friendly member services team.
