Teaching Assistant is an AI chat assistant that teachers can access while they are viewing an AI recipe they have made. Teachers can chat with the AI and ask it to make a wide variety of updates to their board.
Who can access?
Teaching assistant is currently restricted to Teachers, Admins and Owners within School Libraries, Padlet for Schools or Classroom accounts.
How to access
- Create a board using any AI recipes (other than Discussion Board)
- When the board loads, the assistant panel will automatically open and suggest further improvements to the board.
- If you reload the page, the assistant panel will not automatically open, but can be opened by clicking this button.
What can it do?
Teaching assistant can make the following updates to your board:
Updating the Title or Description: Change the title or provide a more detailed description for your board.
Adding or Reorganizing Sections: Create new sections or organize them as desired.
Adding or Editing Posts: Create new posts, edit existing ones and manage their content or appearance.
Updating Settings: Modify settings such as:
- The board format
- The wallpaper
- Post comments
- Post reactions
Custom Fields: Create new Custom fields and update the custom field values of your posts.
Additionally it can also:
- Answer any questions you have about Padlet features
- Summarize your board
- Chat with you about the contents of your board
Privacy and Security
The AI that we use is hosted by a 3rd party service. We do not send any information to this AI other than:
- The board contents
- What you directly enter into the chat
- The preferred language you chose in your settings
