Types of sound effects

Browse through the different categories or search for a specific sound in the search bar. There are so many sound effects to choose from! Categories include:

  • Animals and nature
  • Cartoon and comedy (bonk, wobble, etc.)
  • Human sounds
  • Instruments

And that's just to name a few...

Remove special effects from an object

In Draw mode, click on the object and select the fx button to open the special effects menu. Select Remove > Save.

Disable special effects for your Sandbox

If you do not want special effects to be an option within the Sandbox you can disable it within your Settings menu.

Click the Settings cog icon (⚙️) at the top of your Sandbox > under Content, select Allowed tools > toggle the button OFF next to 'Sound and visual effects' > Save.

Toggling this button OFF will not affect already existing sound/visual effects in your Sandbox. It will only prevent any new effects from being added.

FAQs

Can I add multiple effects to one object?
Yes and no. You can add one visual effect and one sound effect to the same object. However, there cannot be more than one for each specific type.

If you have a sound effect and a visual effect linked to an object, these actions will occur at the same time when the object is clicked.
Why can't I add special effects to my Sandbox?
Only the creator of the Sandbox and those with editing permissions can add special effects to an object within the Sandbox. If you have these permissions, ensure you are logged into your account and you are viewing the Sandbox in Draw mode.
