Security check - We need to verify that you're human

We all get stopped while roaming the internet by the infamous "Security check" asking us to verify we are human and not a robot seeking revenge on planet Earth. We got it - we're checking the box! ✔️

What happens when you get stuck in an endless loop and the security guys just don't believe you? They just keep asking you to verify that you're human....over...and over...and over again. What do you do?

Why does this happen?

This doesn't happen very often but if it does, it's typically caused by our firewall service flagging your login/viewing attempts as 'suspicious.' We will need to figure out why this is happening before we can resolve the issue.

What do you do?

If you reach out to Customer Support, we will ask you a series of questions regarding the issue. Since you're already here reading this HelpDoc, feel free to get a head start on this information and send it on over so we can get started on a solution for you!

What information do you need?

Reach out to Customer Support and let us know you are getting stuck in a loop and being asked to verify you are human. Next, provide answers to the following questions/requests so we can get started right away in troubleshooting the issue for you:

  1. We will need a screenshot of the results of these two pages:
  • https://padlet.com/diagnostics/netinfo
  • https://1.1.1.1/help
  1. A link to an affected padlet
  2. What network is affected (home, work/school, or both?)
  3. Are you using a VPN?
  4. Do you have a static IP address? If yes, what is the IP address?
  5. Is your school using a web filter that may be proxying your school traffic?

If you do not have all of this information - don't worry! Just provide us with as much as you can. Having this information up front when you first write in will greatly reduce the amount of time it will take to resolve this for you.
