To enable automatic user group provisioning in Canvas, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Admin account in the Canvas LMS and click Admin in the left-hand column of the dashboard.
  2. Select Developer Keys.
  1. Next to your Padlet tool, click the pencil icon to edit the key.
  1. Click the LTI Advantage Services drop-down menu and toggle the button ON next to 'Can retrieve user data associated with the context the tool is installed in.'
  1. Save!
