How is user login different once an LMS has been connected via LTI?
Login is not any different than using Google/Microsoft SSO to log into Padlet.
There are a few possible scenarios:
Scenario 1
You have an existing Padlet for Schools account and an account in your LMS:
By simply clicking on Log in with Google/Microsoft (depending on your email provider), we will match the email addresses based on what is already in the LMS. You will be logged into the Padlet account with the same email address.
Scenario 2
You do not have an existing Padlet for Schools account but have an account in your LMS:
When you interact (view, comment, post, etc.) with a padlet on a LMS, we will automatically provision a corresponding account on Padlet for you using the email address and role you use on the LMS.
You can then head to your organization's Padlet for Schools website and simply click on Log in with Google/Microsoft (depending on your email provider). We will match the email addresses based on what is already in the LMS. You will be logged into the Padlet account with the same email address.
