You may see this error displayed when inviting collaborators to your padlet in the Share menu.
Invite collaborators with a username
When you enter a username in the 'Add a collaborator' field in the Share menu, 'Please enter a valid email address' may appear. This happens when the username is not connected to a registered account.
However, a registered account is not required to add someone as a collaborator on your padlet. You can add their email address instead!
Invite collaborators with an email address
If you have an email address for the user you want to share your padlet with, you can add their email address in the text box and click Invite. An email will be sent to the user inviting them to collaborate on the padlet with you.
If you continue to receive the 'Please enter a valid email address' error, something else may be amiss.
Please double-check the email address for errors, as there may be some non-alphanumeric characters added.
