Google Drive integration
You can link your Google Drive to your Padlet account. Once the integration is completed, you can browse your Google Drive account and attach items directly to your padlet!
Integrating Padlet with Google Drive
- From the dashboard, click the Settings cog icon (⚙️)
- Make sure Personal account is selected (at the top of the page), then select Integrations

- Click Connect

- Log into your Google Drive account and allow the integration
Your Padlet account is now linked. Post Google Drive attachments right from the padlet with no need to copy links or download files!
Posting a Google Drive attachment
Boards
When posting a Google Drive attachment onto a board, follow these steps:
- Open up the post composer by selecting the plus button (+) or typing C on the keyboard
- Select the button on the right to open up more options within the content picker
- Select Google Drive

If you have not yet integrated your Google Drive account with Padlet, you will be prompted to do so now.
- Select the Drive item you wish to attach, then click Select
Google Workspace items like docs, sheets and slides will be attached as links, and standard files (like images and videos) will be copied to your padlet directly.
Sandbox
When posting a Google Drive attachment into a Sandbox, follow these steps:
- Click the More options (...) button in the tool menu
- Select Google Drive

If you have not yet integrated your Google Drive account with Padlet, you will be prompted to do so now.
- Choose the file to upload and click Select
- To open the Drive item after it has been posted, click on the post in the upper-right corner.

How do I disconnect my Google Drive integration?
Follow the steps to reach your account's Integrations page and select Disconnect.
Will Padlet monitor or record the contents of my Drive?
No. We will only access your Google Drive in order to reach your selected attachments.
How do I add Google Drive files on my mobile app?
If you have the Google Drive app downloaded onto your mobile device, you can import files onto a post by selecting the more attachments button (+11) within the post composer > Documents and Files > Browse > Google Drive.
