Found a game you like, or want a new version of one of your own? Remix it. Remixing makes a copy of the game that you own and can change. You can give Arcade new instructions, switch to a different game type, or leave everything as is and get an exact copy.

Where to find Remix

  • On a game's page: click the … (More) menu at the top right of the game, then click Remix. Save is in the same menu.
  • In the Info panel: click Create a copy to get your own editable version with a private leaderboard. When you click a featured game on the Arcade homepage, its game page opens with the Info panel already showing.

What gets copied

  • Your remix is a new game with its own link. The original game and its link don't change.
  • The questions and answers carry over, along with any changes you asked for.
  • When you remix someone else's game, the files or links they used to build it aren't copied. You get the game itself, not their source material.
  • Your copy is your own editable version, with a private leaderboard.

Remixing a Wildcard game

Remixing a Wildcard game makes an exact copy. You can't give new instructions or switch game types while remixing. To change the copy, open it, click Edit, and type your changes in the Chat tab.
