Your embedded padlets still work, but you'll need to re-add them to use the new connection. Here's why and how.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>What changed\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Padlet is retiring the older version of LTI (the system your LMS uses to connect to Padlet), and your school has upgraded to LTI 1.3.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Old embeds still load, and students can still open them. What doesn't carry over is the LTI connection itself, which handles automatic sign-in and identifies who's contributing.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>What this means for your padlets\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Your padlets are safe.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Nothing has been deleted.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Old embeds still load.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Students can open them as before.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Students will need to sign in to Padlet manually when they open an old embedded padlet. Automatic sign-in no longer works on those.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>To restore automatic sign-in,\u003C\u002Fstrong> remove the old embed and add a new one using your LMS's updated Padlet tool. Students will then be signed in automatically again.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>You don't have to re-add everything at once.
