Formerly known as groups, \u003Cstrong>Classes\u003C\u002Fstrong> can be used to organize members into smaller cohorts, such as classes, project teams or departments.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Say you have an entire class you&#39;d like to invite to contribute posts to your board. Instead of inviting them all individually, one at a time -&gt; \u003Cu>\u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>Create a Class!\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fem>\u003C\u002Fu> Add your students, find the Class to invite and share with them all at the same time.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>Creating classes\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Anyone who has a Teacher, Admin or Owner role within a Padlet for Schools account can create classes! There are two different ways to do this:\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>\u003Cu>Through an LMS\u003C\u002Fu> - If your Padlet for Schools account is connected to a LMS, you can enable automatic user group provisioning. All \u003Cstrong>Admins\u003C\u002Fstrong> and the \u003Cstrong>Owner\u003C\u002Fstrong> within a school account, as well as the creator of the class, will have a \u003Cstrong>Teacher\u003C\u002Fstrong> role, while everyone else added will be a \u003Cstrong>Student\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cdiv class=\"tip-callout\">To add\u002Fremove users in an existing Class, click on the Class name on the dashboard and select \u003Cstrong>Edit class\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003Ch4>Notifications\u003C\u002Fh4>\u003Cp>What happens when members are added to a Class? How do they know they are a part of it? This is the same process as when you&#39;re invited individually to a padlet. All Class members will receive an email notification to let them know they&#39;ve been added to a Class and invited to your padlet.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>Inviting a Class to collaborate\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Once you have created your Class you can invite the group as a whole to your padlet! To invite one of your Classes to collaborate on your padlet, it is very similar to inviting individual users. Simply open the padlet and click on the \u003Cstrong>Share\u003C\u002Fstrong> \u003Cstrong>arrow\u003C\u002Fstrong> button at the top of the page &gt; type the name of your Class in the \u003Cem>&#39;Add\u003C\u002Fem> \u003Cem>a\u003C\u002Fem> \u003Cem>collaborator&#39;\u003C\u002Fem> field. You can remove the classes you&#39;ve set up and create new ones! To remove a class, select it from the left side of the dashboard. Then, click \u003Cstrong>Edit class\u003C\u002Fstrong>. At the bottom under \u003Cem>&#39;Admin,&#39;\u003C\u002Fem> select \u003Cstrong>Archive class\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Archived classes are removed from your workspace but the padlets are not deleted.
