Getting Started with Padlet Arcade

Padlet Arcade is an AI-powered game creation platform that turns any topic, document, or link into an interactive learning game in under a minute. Whether you’re a teacher prepping for class or a student looking to study, Arcade makes it easy to create and play educational games — no design skills or coding required

How It Works

Arcade follows a simple three-step flow:

  1. Describe your game — type a topic, upload a file, or paste a link.
  2. Pick a game type — choose from seven template formats, let the AI surprise you, or go fully custom.
  3. Build and play — the AI generates your complete game with content, images, and game mechanics. Share it with a link or QR code and watch scores roll into the leaderboard.

That’s it. Most games are ready to play in under a minute.

Games are moderated to ensure they are appropriate for the classroom.

Your Account

You don’t need an account to create a game. Anyone can visit Arcade, type a topic, and generate a game immediately.

However, you do need to sign in to save games to your personal library. If you create a game without logging in, don’t worry — the game still exists and is accessible through its unique link. If you sign in later, you can claim it and add it to your library.

Arcade uses your existing Padlet account. If you already have a Padlet account, you’re all set.

Pricing

Arcade is currently free to use.

The top navigation bar gives you access to everything:

  • Create — Start building a new game.
  • My games — Open your personal library of created and saved games.
  • Community — Browse a curated gallery of games made by the Padlet team

The homepage itself also serves as a starting point for creation, with large input cards for entering a topic, uploading a file, or adding a link. Below that, you’ll find a curated gallery of featured games to try or remix.
